Busybox Installer is the most easy to use busybox installer on the market. It has more versions available than any other installer. It also updates available versions automatically. Busybox Installer includes a "scripter" to manage and run your scripts. Root is required for this app.Busybox is needed by several root apps and is a powerful utility. Learn more about busybox at http://busybox.net/☆ Latest version of busybox included☆ Advanced installer☆ Scripter to create and run your scripts☆ Check for new versions automatically (don't need to update the app)☆ View a list of applets and their usage☆ Delete busybox from your systemBusyBox combines tiny versions of many common UNIX utilities into a single small executable. It provides replacements for most of the utilities you usually find in GNU fileutils, shellutils, etc. The utilities in BusyBox generally have fewer options than their full-featured GNU cousins; however, the options that are included provide the expected functionality and behave very much like their GNU counterparts. BusyBox provides a fairly complete environment for any small or embedded system.BusyBox has been written with size-optimization and limited resources in mind. It is also extremely modular so you can easily include or exclude commands (or features) at compile time. This makes it easy to customize your embedded systems. To create a working system, just add some device nodes in /dev, a few configuration files in /etc, and a Linux kernel.BusyBox is maintained by Denys Vlasenko, and licensed under the GNU GENERAL PUBLIC LICENSE version 2.Busybox Installer is open source under GNU license. Improvements and feedback is welcome.https://bitbucket.org/JRummy16/busybox-installerDeveloped by: JRummy Apps Inc.

  • Wullie Little Perfect This version of busybox installed in an instant with zero hassle when the 'other' app (stericsson') was nothing but failed attempts and a sore head ...Thank you devs ;)
  • Brian Flores It's cool This app has always done it's job. Its a great app to have. It doesn't work on my SIII for some reason. It fails to install any version of busy box.
  • Preston Huft Excellent! This busybox installer let's you choose the version you want, which was helpful because my Samsung YP-GS1 is incompatible with latest busybox. Really fast too!
  • Nikolaj Schomacker Ehmm. What? So, Launching this app on my HTC Desire I couldn't click anything. Nothing responded at all. Finally I found out that if I pressed search, and then came back from the search box, I could scroll down and hit install!
  • Sergio Pokrovskij Busybox mistreats utf-8 ash does not accept cyrillic letters from keyboard (the TerminalEmulator's Android sh does), yet it can show them in grep, tail and some other utils. The Extended Latin in utf-8 can be input (even the esperantic "eĥoŝanĝo ĉiuĵaŭde"). less mistreats some eols in utf-8; vi is unable to visualize a cyrillic utf-8 text. The visual $ and ^ do not work (seems to be a feature of busybox vi), moreover they freeze the terminal. Otherwise the package seems to be acceptable.
